First, the basics:
- Open game to all players
- Aimed at beginner and intermediate players
- Victory condition: be the first player to 300 victory points
- All scoring options on except for the King of the Hill planet
- We'll start off on a MTWThF schedule then slow to a MWF schedule after turn 15.
This game will be played in the Death Blossom galaxy of 400 stars. Stars are slightly
closer together than in the Echo cluster (make use of those crappy starting engines!). There will be low contraband. There will be average minerals in the ground, except for a low molybdenum setting to spice things up a bit. All races will be available, including the newly released Robots. Homeworld locations will be hand-picked by the host (no, the host will not be playing in this game) and there will be approximately 400 lightyears between neighboring homeworlds. Finally... we will be using the new food settings. Your colonists will need 1 food per 100,000 people, and maximum growth occurs when you have a stock pile of 100 turns of food. Other important stuff:
- 1,000,000 starting population
- Only 5000 Mc starting cash, but 15000 in the bank (more for scavengers if they sign up, since they normally get a bank income bonus).
