| Borg - Ground Combat - big losses question | ||||||

Hi to all. I'm playing the borg in a game and last turn, after a ground combat, I have lost near 10 million colonists, but there has not been any bombardement, I won the ground battle, I have many more troops than my enemy and there is no message that indicates I have lost those colonists!!! I don't undestand what has happened. Can anybody help me to undestand this? PREVIOUS TURN: Borg base: Col: 11.130.000 Crew: 1.190.000 Troops: 3.100.000 HG: 1 Bots: 195 Cyborg Assimilators Military stance: Peaceful (I want to assimilate as many imperials as I can ;-) ) Empire Base: Col: 3.145.000 Crew: 359.000 Troops: 18.600 HG: 100 Bots T1: 7900 Bots T2: 30 Bots T3: 156 LAST TURN: Borg base: Col: 670.000 (I have lost near 10 million)!!!!! Crew: 577.000 Troops: 5.000.000 HG: 1 Bots: 105 Cyborg Assimilators Empire Base: Col: 2.680.000 Crew: 37.000 Troops: 1.120 HG: 22 Bots T1: 7080 Casualties Message: -Missing Or Dead- Crew: 1181617 Cyborg Assimilator 100 Ground War! message: Our base is under attack by ground forces belonging to race 6. The attackers have surrendered to our base. Attacking force strength after battle: 742200 Defending strength after battle: 212288650 Anybody can explain me what has happened with my colonists?
